held the 2nd and 4th Tuesday at 5:30 PM in Garland, Texas send an email to TexasCPRTrainingCenter@gmail.com
with your name, telephone contact, choice of date, and which course you would like to attend
(Course 1, 2 or 3 – SEE COURSE OPTIONS BELOW)

 

*Once you email your information you will receive an email confirmation.
*You will also receive an invoice via email to pay online. Payment needs to be made immediately to secure your spot as classes are first come.
*Payments are non-refundable if you arrive past 5:30 PM, are a no show, or if you cancel for any reason once payment has been made, payment may not be used for a future class.

 

CPR/AED is for anyone NOT in healthcare

CPR/AED (COURSE 1)

$55.00 for the hands-on session
(payments are final and non refundable)

If you are signing up for the American Heart Association CPR/AED course, please complete the Heartsaver CPR/AED test online before you attend.
The cost is $16.50 for the online cognitive portion (approx 1 1/2 hours).
You will pay the online portion on the American Heart Association’s website when you purchase the course.

the practical hands-on portion of the class. This will shorten your class time.

 

Good for babysitters, nannies, new parents, childcare providers, churches, etc.


CPR/AED and Pediatric First Aid (COURSE 2)

$55.00 for the hands-on session
(Payments are final and non refundable)

If you are signing up for the American Heart Association CPR and PEDIATRIC FIRST AID, please complete the Heartsaver CPR/Pediatric First Aid test online before you attend. The cost is $21.50 for the online cognitive portion (approx 2-3 hours).
You will pay the online portion on the American Heart’s website when you purchase the course.

CPR/AED and Adult First Aid (COURSE 3)

$55.00 for the hands-on session

The cost is $21.00 for the online cognitive portion (approx 2-3 hours)
You will pay the online portion on the American Heart’s website when you purchase the course (approx 2-3 hours).

Heartsaver CPR AED Training

American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR AED Training Training of Dallas
The Heartsaver CPR AED course trains participants to give CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care.

Who should take this course?
The AHA Heartsaver CPR AED Course is designed for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements.

 

Blended Learning (online portion, followed by hands-on skills session)

Heartsaver CPR AED Online is the eLearning portion of the Heartsaver CPR AED Blended Learning Course and teaches information needed for CPR and AED training. Upon completion of the online portion, students must complete a hands-on skills session with an AHA Instructor at Texas CPR Training. 

 

The online course runs 1 1/2 hours, and the hands0on skills session can be completed in one hour.

  • Demonstrate how to help a choking infant*

Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Training

American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Training of Dallas
The American Heart Association’s Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course trains participants to provide first aid, CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).

 

 Who should take this course?
The American Heart Association’s Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Course is designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for their job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements, or anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting.

 

Blended Learning (online portion, followed by hands-on skills session)

Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Online is the eLearning portion of the Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Blended Learning Course and is designed to teach students information needed for first aid, CPR, and AED training.

Upon completion of the online portion, students must complete hands-on skills session with an AHA Heartsaver Instructor at Texas CPR Training.

American Heart Association Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED Training of Dallas
The Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED course trains participants how to respond to and manage illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) and the 2015 AHA/Red Cross Guidelines for First Aid.

Blended Learning (online portion), followed by hands on.

Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED Online is the eLearning portion of the Blended Learning Course. Upon completion of the online portion, students must complete a hands-on skills session with an AHA Instructor. Upon completion of the online portion, students must complete hands-on skills session with an AHA BLS or Heartsaver Instructor.

Who should take this course?
The American Heart Association Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED Course is designed for anyone involved in childcare who have a duty to respond to illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. Including: childcare workers, teachers, camp counselors, etc

 

 

What does this course teach?

  • First aid basics including medical, injury, poison, and environmental emergencies, preventing illnesses and injuries and controlling bleeding & bandaging. Covers topics like using a tourniquet, shock, internal bleeding, burns and electrical injuries, allergic reactions, breathing problems & dehydration, diabetes & low blood sugar, heat-and cold-related emergencies, drowning, amputations, bites and stings, broken bones and sprains. Also covers splinters, nose bleeds, fainting, seizures, and injuries to the head, eyes, neck, spine, mouth, and teeth.
  • CPR AED and choking: CPR and AED Use for Adults*, Children and Infants, Adult*, Child, and Infant Choking

Disclaimer

Each student that enrolls for any class involving CPR must be physically capable of bending their legs and have full range of motion of their arms. Participants should expect to be on their knees for an extended period of time throughout the course instruction. Performing CPR requires strength and good physical health as it could be physically challenging for some students. Wear comfortable stretchy clothing.

I agree to waive and relinquish any and all claims I may have arising out of, or connected with, said course.

I do hereby fully release and discharge Texas CPR Training and its officers, agents and employees from any and all claims from injuries, including death, damage or loss which I may have as a result of this course.
